   Hornbill Festival at Kisama Heritage Village – Day 1

   After breakfast, proceed to Kisama Heritage Village for your first full day at the legendary Hornbill Festival. Witness vibrant traditional dances, indigenous music performances, colourful tribal costumes and cultural displays representing Nagaland's diverse communities. Explore traditional morungs and taste authentic regional cuisine before returning to Kohima.

   Hornbill Festival – Tribal Culture, Crafts & Indigenous Games

   Return to Kisama Heritage Village for another immersive day at the Hornbill Festival. Discover traditional crafts, handwoven textiles and indigenous art while watching cultural performances and traditional games. Depending on the official festival programme, enjoy music concerts, food competitions and special cultural events.

   Kohima Heritage & Historical Sightseeing

   After breakfast, explore the historic and cultural landmarks of Kohima. Visit the famous Kohima War Cemetery, an important memorial from the Second World War, followed by Kohima Cathedral and the Nagaland State Museum. Later, explore local markets for traditional Naga shawls, handicrafts and souvenirs.

   Kohima → Khonoma – India's First Green Village

   After breakfast, travel to Khonoma, the historic Angami village celebrated for its community-led conservation traditions and rich cultural heritage. Explore traditional village gates, ancient forts, terraced fields and scenic viewpoints while learning about the community's journey from hunting traditions towards wildlife conservation. Stay overnight in a traditional homestay or return to Kohima depending on the selected accommodation plan.
